Anyone here think LVG would have made a better fist of it than Maureen?
Not a chance, they are a money machine and we are still well behind, not arsed in the slightest about catching them regarding revenue. The pitch is where it all matters.
It's not impossible though
A few "ifs" .........
If the rags are still not competing in the CL and we are. (£40M difference)
We obtain a new improved main sponsorship deal as the Etihad one is now undervalued (£30M improvement)
We have a new kit supplier who pays what the going rate is, rather than the pittance we currently get from Nike. Rags get £75M, so by the time we come to renegotiate or put out to tender, £75M will actually be the normal rate, so that's an increase of £65M
Those three together could make a difference of over £150M
But of course we don't mind them winning the biggest T/O award, so long as Malc's boys keep on milking the twats and we keep winning on the pitch
And there is the secret of the Pogba hype. He had absolutely incredible players covering his arse the entire time at Juve.Wonder how long it will take before Rooney is dropped and they play 4-2-3-1 with Pogba pushed into a more advanced role. At Juve he always had Pirlo, vidal or Marchisio alongside him allowing him to push forward. He is completely wasted playing so deep imo. And despite spending 60-70 million on Fellaini, Schneiderlin, Herrera and Schweinsteiger none of them look particularly great. Not sure whats happened to Carrick but they need him back. And why the fuck was Mkhitaryan playing right mid.
That squad has a lot of issues but I would still expect to be challengers along with Chelsea as they way to much individual talent not to be.
I said i thought we played better in the 2nd half, but thinking about it, Pep knew we would come out that way, so adjusted his tactics, and it worked. You could have scored many more. As for the stuff on Red Cafe, i dont even go on there so please dont think all United fans are the same. You were better than us plain and simple. Hopefully we can bounce back at Watford.

They could actually be fairly threatening with Herrera and Schneiderlein behind him but then they'd have to drop one of Rooney and Zlatan which would prompt a catastrophic ego meltdown and probably cost them an official toilet paper partner in Indonesia.

? They've not played the dippers yet ;-)Pogba has been bang average and yesterday well below what you would expect for his price tag, way way below. He was bought back at that price under the impression he is now the real deal and he did not turn up in their biggest match of the season, there is no sugar coating that. If someone say's 'tactics' i will scream as that leads me on to Mourinho, supposedly the only manager who can even hang on to Pep's coat tail. He got it so badly wrong, i can't really imagine a clearer demonstration of where we are compared to where that lot are at.
They have two players who would terrorise the majority of Premier league full backs in Martial and Rashford, but there is not a cat in hell's chance Pullisinho would ever play such an attacking formation
Let's say we are £85m behind for 2015/16Won't our forecast put us about £85m behind them for last year? It's possible but would be a huge leap.
See above. Not a chance, they are a money machine and we are still well behind, not arsed in the slightest about catching them regarding revenue. The pitch is where it all matters.

You've forgotten about walking in Memphis.Hehe, that i think will actually be a very good match. After us putting them in their place they won't want Liverpool to have it over them to, they would all be on suicide watch. So that and Liverpools break neck 'heavy metal' football should create a good match.
Rashford seems a good kid and not a gobshite, i actually hope he does ok but hopefully with another club as his direct attitude and pace will push many lesser defences back.
Martial seems to have lost all favour, i even half forgot about the lad tbh, not a bad player but as above, pretty easy to predict hence control.
We should see growth in commercial revenue this season anyway with the increased media exposure having Guardiola brings, although the same could probably be said of the rags. Unfortunately we're starting off from a weaker position this year in the CL down to our finishing position last season.Let's say we are £85m behind for 2015/16
A CL win this year would put us mightily close.
But they'll still say we'd fall apart when our owners get bored.
The best thing is that the vast majority of rag cunts and every other fan in this country belive that narrative and have no idea how financially strong we really are.
We ain't going anywhere. Other than up that is.

Christ, memphis Depay, i had forgot about him bloody hell haha, i had actually genuinely forgot he plays for them still. That say's a lot it's self i guess. I would have remembered but his name was certainly nowhere in my mind when i posted the above. Does that Januzai lad still play for them or?
@aguero93:20
Thank you.
I hadn't really noticed the severity of that before, its a yellow card and a penalty, and just as relevant as the media hyped Bravo incident.
I think a good few of the rags have forgotten him too tbh :D Falls-on-arse is currently dazzling the mackems with his signature run pirouette and flop.
