Someone said in this thread a few days back 'just wait for the Suarez to utd headlines for huge money' after their last league match. I would just like to note that as they were fucking bang on and it is very funny to me. I am enjoying their struggles rather a lot atm. A lot of their glory hunters grip on the ss ragtanic is loosening going of the posts on redcafe with some just saying they have no affinity but wanted to be associated with them winning on some level. I have never understood that mentality personally but meh that is their issue.

When we've chucked money at it, Rebrov, Bentley, Paulinho, Soldado etc, we've failed miserably. We just done another panic signing with Sissoko which seems like a huge mistake.

United have done that with Mata, Martial, Fellani, Pogba etc. Huge fees without much in return.

Our net-spend has been the lowest in the league over the past 7 seasons and we've always had a wage structure (may have gone over with Adebayor) . Now we're not selling marquee players like Berbatov, Bale and Modric and getting a new stadium. Although we're in a rut, the future is looking a bit better. Much more so than United, who's wage bill is triple Spurs and your squad is is almost 5 times as much too.

You're really shite and I don't know how you're going to get out of it in all honesty. Ten years ago I would have laughed in your face if you said Spurs would have a better squad and better with their finances in the future

Decent points but of the 4 players you named I am happy with 3 of them: Mata, Martial and Pogba. We majorly overpaid for Pogba but you know what we can afford it and he is a top talent. We have good players, perhaps a bit imbalanced defensively but the squad is a constant work in progress as it is for all teams. We have no identity though, so far Mourinho is not performing and it's pretty crap.

Am sure as a Spurs fan you are happy but when you look at your summer business, how Pochettino has never won anything, how he's done in Europe and even how you allowed Arsenal to finish ahead of you last season then you have to wonder if there is a ceiling for you lot.

If I was your boss mate I'd be scratching my head where to even start.

it's always been glass half full for me, I've never got my hopes up for anything. As for Ponch he's up there with the best in my lifetime along with El Tel and Harry. He's still young and learning, you gotta start somewhere.

I'm against us getting anyone different, Spurs have had a revolving door for 20 years, from the shitty days of Gross, boring days of Graham and Santini, to the gung ho of Ossie and Redknapp and the absolute bore fests from AVB. Look at the youngsters he used at Southampton and Spurs. United fans would love that I bet

Yes we are still in the shadow of Arsenal but it's nowhere as bad it was for near 20 years, they've only finished a few points ahead of us every season. Their fans used to feel sorry for s which is horrible being rivals, but now we give them a good run for their money. They'll probably stuff us 4-0 tmoz though lol

Can we get a full background check on The Finished One done? Specifically looking for things that prove he secretly hates united. This descent is far too quick and everything he's done there points to sabotage.


On second thought let's leave him too it...
