1.15 PPG = 44 points in a season.

And before the Swansea game, PEG's ppg was 1.07 - 40 points over the course of a season.

Everyone else on that list was fired, apart from Allardyce who left after securing 17th place.

And in comparison to the coaches Mourinho's supposed to compete with?

I Cannot believe he thinks this is the normal standard of play in England.

But he also got away with throttling a player in Europe this week - so the bias towards him ( and the likes of Fellaini ) is there for all to see, on a regular basis.

It's actually a fucking disgrace the way such behaviour is tolerated by spineless refs.

I don't rate this Utd side at all but was somewhat surprised to see they are only 6 pts behind us in the league.

If the three home games which we drew had been converted to wins ( not an unreasonable possibility given the chances created ) the true difference would have been evident.

Just seen an article ( Daily Express ) regarding the 10 highest paid players in football, although the figures look a bit iffy and probably lower than what they actually receive :-

we currently throw away £12.5 million on Toure,

Rags spend £13million on the Swedish Ego, £13.5 million on Granny Shagger, and £15 mllion on " Haircut 100 " , which means they actually spend £41.5 million on players who don 't play for them !

Ed is doing a great job and the Glazers keep taking from the " gift that keeps giving " a marriage made in hell.
