was thinking that earlier..... then I remember all their players left on the street by that scum club in the aftermath of the disaster. Its the rant I go on when ever a scum fan tries to say they are a club with class..... eh, hold on there PAL!!!!
Give it a rest and try and show a bit of class... Nothing wrong in showing some empathy to another team who have suffered a similar tragedy!

Same reason they turn a blind eye to Shrek screaming F*** OFF to the referees over his career.......I reckon thousands of times.

Sky are Pathetic.

Hang on a minute; he's the England Captain don't you know? A paradigm of virtue; a shining example to our children; someone who you would happily invite to your wedding reception...... and a massive bell end!

I can't believe how many times he has got away with blatant dissent over the years. Almost untouchable in fact. Maybe it stems from the protection that red faced Scottish fella that used manage them seemed to get from ref's; forgotten his name now....

I don't recall seeing any other view of the incident than the side-on view at the time. You couldn't really tell from that how close Noble was. Not very from what I saw but with all the cameras it seems strange there hasn't been a view of the incident from the other axis.

Is it totally cynical to suppose we haven't seen a head-on view because it would blow any pretence he was trying to avoid a tackle out of the water?

There is a view front on not side on that shows just how bad a dive it was, he even throws his leg out to try and make contact, if anyone can find it will you post it again

It's interesting to apply the Kubler-Ross 5-stsge model of grief to their situation. I always thought this was a linear model, where you moved from one stage to another, eventually getting to the end state. Yet Peg seems to be exhibiting all five simultaneously.

Stage 1 - Denial. "We're the unluckiest club in the world. We're dominating opponents but aren't getting the wins".

Stage 2 - Anger. At refs, his players, his situation and anyone/anything else, real or imaginary, that annoys him.

Stage 3 - Bargaining. "All I need is 4 more transfer windows and a billion pounds then I'd have a world-beating team.

Stage 4 - Depression." I'm living in a hotel and my family are staying in London".

Stage 5 - Acceptance. "We have to be realistic. We aren't th at good any more and we need to rebuild".
You'll be pleased (in this instance) to know that it's possible to get trapped in a loop - often from depression back to denial and round again.

Escape towards acceptance and beyond (renormalisation) usually involves experimentation and finding different strategies which allow you to adjust to the new status quo. Seems like the rags have been doing this for the last 3 years, still to no avail.

I think they've broken the curve.

Give it a week and they'll have the survivors at the swamp just like the Chilean miners which was to date perhaps second only to the sponsored anniversary in terms of cashing in on disaster.
