Sports fella : " yes my team liverpool take on Spurs in a 6 pointer. If they win they go 1 point behind them. I'm excited about it. Off the top of my head, I've forgotten, and I should know but who are Utd playing ?."

Kielty : " I don't know !."

I've paraphrased what Kielty said. He went on about Utd, and of course he knew nothing about the club he 'chose' to support. He then made some self deprecating quip about Utd sealing sixth spot in an effort to deflect away from the fact he had been exposed as just another rag glory hunter with little or no interest in his 'team'.

Does that ring any bells ?.

Not sure if there is a thread on this or not but i cant believe the Rags are not being hammered about the latest set of financial figures.
How the fook can UEFA just sit there and do nothing about the fact that there net debt has now spiralled to nearly 500m ..What is FFP about if they allow them to get away with that after punishing us when we are debt free.
Its no wonder we boo the UEFA anthem there has got to be some consistancy in all this and they should face sanctions like we did

659m fans, players who all come through the youth set up and play for nothing but the love of the club, just imagine how much debt they'd have if they didn't do it the raggy way ;)
 
its my understanding that "we can have 400mil of debt because we are manchester united and an institution and we turn over 500mil and we are worth 3 billion anyway so debt figures dont relate to us as we are good for it".

Not debt, ever since it got rewritten to put a glass ceiling in.
They shouldn't really be that bothered about the Utd debt though - it doesn't endanger the club's existence.

Yep you right the banks love the drip drip drip of money coming in for the next 10 year+ But dont get top 4 and it will effect the budget Moaninho will get of the Glazers
