Yet looking the the past figures they are not actively looking to pay off the debt. They don't need too.
The tax implications on clearing the debt means it's cheaper not too.
They were paying it off when they were consistently in the top 4. They're playing catch up now on the pitch and can't. Don't think they're too worried about the tax side of it either, even if they weren't in the Caymans they could use playing costs (fees, amortisation etc) to dodge the taxman on exactly the same way as the loan interest. It hurts their ability to spend.
