Well if we beat them tonight, the Burnley and Swansea games becomes so, so important leading into the run I posted above. I think they'll get 6 points but It really wouldn't be crazy if they lost points to burnley who were great against Spurs and already did a job on Liverpool.

They won't fire him though, not this season. He might quit though if it does disintegrate like Chelsea last season.

Like with gollum and TT, the rags will wait until CL qualification is beyond them, IMHO.l

No chance of seeing the attendance tonight as the rags still have plenty of tickets available on their official site.
654 billion fans and carnt sell a derby out !

According to a couple of rags in work they are in transition. Well it must be the longest transition in the history of football as its been going on for over 3 years!!
Nah, it's different transitions innit?
First transition was from the GPC to post-GPC and that morphed into the Chosen one transition. Chosen by the GPC but I don't think we're allowed to remind them of that.
Then there was the PL Champs falling out of the top 4 transition and the Chosen One to the Tactical Turtle transition. You'll note we weren't allowed a transition from Mancini to Pellers so the FOC went and picked up a couple of trophies instead of transitioning.
Then they had the transition from the Turtle being some form of football genius, a form that remained undefined, to a football genius of the Alan Ball style.
And over the summer they had the Turtle to Matalan Maureen transition which started to go a bit shit in the derby. Leading to the current transition where Peg just looks miserable every time he's interviewed and all the rags and their lick-spittles in the media put a brave face on it by referring to a "transition". They don't know what from or what to, but it's a transition.
As for Shrek, I can't see him going anywhere due to his wages, unless it's to one of the newly minted clubs in China. That would be a disaster as it's quite amusing knowing he's costing them £300k a week for the next few years.

What the red dimwits don't appear to appreciate is that all empires inevitably crumble. From the Roman empire to the Ottoman empire, the Third Reich to the British Empire, all seemed destined at the time to last for ever, but then ineluctably become mere squashed flies on the windscreen of history. Change and decay are built into all systems, things and people.

Ferguson's empire seemed as if it would go on for ever as well, but it is not going to be repeated. There may be the odd fleeting bit of success, but it will be ephemeral and bear no resemblance to the old order.

When empires have disintegrated, most people say "Good riddance". So will it be at the swamp.

They were so reliant on Ferguson the dictator running every aspect of the club for 20 years that the Trafford shits presumed that there name alone would mean they would continue to be successful when he fucked off, the twats tend to forget that they hadnt won the league for 26 years before he rolled up-they have just gone full circle-hiring and firing managers like they did when Busby stood down.

They have no plan just money.

Fuck em.
This is exactly their problem. The 1st thing they should have done when Fergie left was appoint a director of football. Instead, they now stumble from one new 'saviour' to the next each bringing in their own ideas which takes time to implement but they are son desperate to remain relevant they get rid before it comes to fruition.
Anyway, fuck 'em the rag scum

'The Chosen One' - that should go down in footballing history as the worst ever name given to an incoming manager. The fucking arrogance of the wankers, and that stupid fucking banner. The press should have ridiculed them every season since for that abomination. Poor Moyes never stood a fucking chance.

The lad has just asked me will we be in blue tonight as the orange binman kit is the cup away kit .
I assume we will ?

It is nights like this that I'm annoyed to have a life-time ban from red cafe. I would love to contribute (politely) to their Sergio Aguero thread (in their transfer forum) which begins:

"There has been rumours that Pep wants Sergio Aguero out due to Kun's attitude, though some latest news have Pep denied that that Pep said he wants Kun to be there long term.

Anyway, if Aguero is really leaving City, anyone think that we should grab him?"

Talk about deluded!

And someone called MounchesterUtd. added in all seriousness, this little gem: "Too injury prone, unless he'd be content to be rotated with Rashford and take a paycut."

I fell off my chair at that!

Omg just wtf

Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes he has the power to turn Man City supporters into Man United fans

Well at least we know what Ed Woodward's username on the caff is

Enjoyed their celebrations at the final whistle. Made me laugh and laugh quite loudly. While I'm always disappointed with a derby defeat, this one didn't feel as bad. You could argue that 2 of the first 11 would be starters in a stronger team last night, Ota and Nolito, Kompany coming back from injury wouldn't have got ahead of Stones. So we had 9 squad players on the pitch, 2 of which are from the youth team and handled themselves very well, especially Maffeo, who I thought was different class, with Garcia looking neat and tidy.
Take United, set up with the best team available to them, probably played a little better but still not great, questions can be asked about Herrera's challenge for the goal but they celebrated like they won the league.

The gap is widening and that result last night has just blinded them some more. It's great! Never been so positive after a derby loss
