Allegedly Adidas deal goes from 75mm annually to 52.5mm, I assume each year they are outside the CL. Thing is, I'd bet a similar clause is included in other sponsorship deals they have. Not sure sure what public disclosure is required in their financial filings about them though.

not 100%, the experts will be along soon to help you,,but i believe they take a very large knock on sponsorship money, plyers individual sponsorhip deals then the CL cash itself and gate recipts and with others i have forgotten my guess its three times your estimate ;-)

Ah, yeah, yeah, but, but.......all the players will earn less due no the no CL football clause in the contracts that the genius edwarwoowarr insisted on, and that not just makes up the difference but actually is worth more.......so, UTD actually make money by not taking the CL. But the media (I know) reported Pigbag and One-Bra were signed on high basic wages in the summer when they knew there was no CL. And I doubt even Shrek was stupid enough to allow a non-CL clause to be added when he threatened to leave.
The only problem is that some time ago Liverpool made a lot of money from the Europa as they could do individual deals with non-European broadcasters. The rags have even more glory-seeking morons globally so they might be making up some of the losses. We need them to finish out of Europe not just out of the CL.
