Last season at Chelsea was disastrous really but over the course of his career it surely has to be viewed as an anomaly.

Fair enough but even you must admit, he's becoming more and more toxic as each season passes. He's certainly not the charmer he was in his first season at Chelsea.

Thought he was his usual classless self on Sunday also. Celebrated like he'd won the title when Valdes slipped.

I see what you're saying but he's always been toxic and controversial. It's just then he was new and fresh, blew everyone everyone away with an instant impact and had that youthful charm.

Lets be honest, United are the biggest club in the world but the number of their fans who seem "content" with finishing top 6 and winning the Rumbelows Cup and having the chance of winning the Europa League is quite staggering really. The number of them who are excited by winning the Europa is incredible. All of sudden its a major trophy and mightily important "as we have never won it and it would be nice to have in our trophy cabinet" I cant get my head around it, i really cant.

Could you imagine Barca/Real/Munich fans being "content" with a top 6 finish and a place in the Europa League??

The thing is they got lucky with a one in lifetime manager that bullied there way to trophies before him the scum was a tinpot club trophy wise, they just going back to that tinpot occasional trophy club that will probably wont win the league for another 10 years.

Schweinsteiger going to Chicago Fire?! WTF is that about? A lousy club with an even lousier owner in a stadium that's basically considered a big mistake. Hopefully, it will give their long suffering fans hope....
If you had mentioned shit fans as well you'd have summed up the team he's leaving.

Yeah currently but he started off the season talking about wanting to win the league and he has repeatedly said that he doesn't want to play in the Europa League. So it's not like he's tried to lower expectations and am sure next season he'll talk about aiming to win the league again.
The only time I've heard him speak about the Europa League was when he said it would give you what 4th in the Premier League would as well as a trophy.

Given that he spoke of winning the league, and bearing in mind that he didn't say anything about winning the league in his first (little horse) season back at Chelsea, added to the money he has spent on top of what you already had, would you agree that he has massively (sniff sniff) underachieved this season?

You say "toxic and controversial" I say "C@nt".

This is the man who turned an entire team against him at Chelsea, mainly due to his bullying of weaker members of the squad. 100% narcissist

This fact needs repeating again and again
Why aren't the journalists asking Jose about his past derogatory comments about the europa league now he is manager of mid-table Utd?.
Surely any journo seeking a controversial story would ask that......
No.not one peep.the bbc ...not one peep.
They are not allowed to do or say anything that makes MT utd look small.

Well he did that at Chelsea to prevent another big loss and thus risk the team losing confidence which we don't need with so many big games coming up. The team stayed together and defended well after everyone's favourite ref Oliver sent off Herrera. The FA Cup this season was simply the least important of priorities.

But you needed to fucking score to go through, not stay together and defend well.

Europa League? We're better than that, insists Mourinho in dig at predecessor Benitez
