It's a fair point. In some ways they remind me of Mancini's first year. For all their laughable faults, they are solid defensively. A bit of clever thinking in recruitment of their wingers and a workhorse next to the flop and they will improve vastly.
That's why I am praying Ajax ruin their season, because no champs league football will wreck their recruitment.
Their recruitment policy has been terrible for years now. They're more bothered about players with marketing potential to keep their global fan base happy. Pogba, bastian, depay, di Maria, big conk.
The pogba money could have been spent on 3 very very good players which would have made them a genuine threat football wise, but wouldn't have had the international impact they do desired. Hopefully they continue with this shit policy in summer and spunk money on someone with loads of instagram followers and can dab dead good.

I can't see what all the hype is about Neymar. I can't see why we would need him. As far as it goes I think that we are sorted striker wise.
Maybe he can play LB, under Pep ;-)
