A high line with a back 4 that included 2 full backs (Ake and Lewis) that can't run. Ake can barely move.
 
Players not having the energy for a derby is fucking disgusting.

You could see we had no interest in matching their work ethic today and this is a lazy United team who just got a manager sacked.

Something fundamentally wrong here and it’s raised its head over the last two season multi times.

I don’t like our players attitudes to games. Work fucking harder stop looking around miserable for others to blame.

Pep also needs to have a fucking look at the garbage produced. Apathy in football will get u nowhere.

Top of the club needs to start the winning process' and high demands. They are not doing that.

Khaldoon, pep and everyone in between should be fucking embarrassed with that shit and as I say it’s happened many times this season.

Snap, fucking right shit show would never have won even if they went to 10 men (they should have). Only bonus was i was home early to crack open the wine

We lost because we were second best all over the field. Our forwards were completely dominated by their back four. We totally gave away the midfield by asking Rodri to manage it all on his own. Our full backs really struggled as did Alleyne. If the were any bright spots they were the performances of Khusanov and Donnarumma. Khusanov is developing into a top class centre back. Donna still makes me nervous at corners and with the ball at his feet but there’s no denying he’s a World class shot stopper.

It’s not the first time a Pep team has been shit against the Rags. I wonder what they talk about in the build up. We should be absolutely battering them but I think Pep shows them far too much respect and it impacts the players.

Arse have been exceptionally lucky recently so our luck will change as it always does over a season - still need to believe
 
Shitshow today. Disappointing. We've won 10 drawn 3 and lost 1 of last 14 games following the debacle against Bayer Leverkusen. We've lost a bit of momentum recently. We are playing 3 games a week. Hopefully we can bounce back. Come on City!
 
You don't mind losing as long as you've put everything in and fought until the end. There was none of that on show today, totally insipid and lifeless. Pep has actually come out and said it wasn't a bad performance, fuck me, really pep ,really. It was utter gash the first 45 I saw and presumably didn't improve much in the 2nd 45.
Not sure how much Pep has left in the tank,we can't seem to put in top performances any more, been getting the results but playing bang average.
Form is now dropping off a cliff and we're now in a top four battle
