United (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

The score line massively flatters our performance. Pep rolled the dice on the defence and it backfired spectacularly. Our vulnerability at the back was contagious and transferred through the team. After that, the league has definitely gone. Frankly we’ve got our work cut out just to finish top four.
Even St Beneathus Day isn't nailed on.

On recent performaces we won't.

Arsenal will hand us our arses at Wembley. No doubt Pep will play some weird line up and team selection.

And I cant wait to see Rico in the line up for PSG, Bayern, Madrid.

Look, our best 11 is good enough to beat anybody when fully match fit. But what has let us down is the squad
its full of deadwood that can not get match fit or don't want to play and then Phillips and 4 keepers

Look we had a more than tough game tuesday against the bar code cloggies and they had their only ‘cup final’ in front of their new temp coach so it was bound to abolen ADd Taylor and his antics and its perfect for a result like that
Keep the faith keep the faith

Pep and Rodri both saying that United had more legs and more energy is a huge concern

Whether its down to injuries, number of games etc is irrelevant, I dont want to hear shitty excuses after a performance like that

You shouldn't feel tired during a derby, you should just be going off adrenaline

The rumour is he’s in Christie’s mate. Hope to god it’s shit, but after Tolmie post it looks like it could be true.
Woah, I hope that’s not true.

Sorry mate I’ve not seen anything from Tolmie, to be clear he posted saying Nunes is in Christie’s?

Typical Saturday evening phone-in type comment from a white van expert. All down to one man, despite being an all-round shitshow. If only X had been picked, we’d a pissed it.

Seen how many he’s scored everywhere he’s been, including for a modest international side?

When you sign such a player you have to give him service. He’s never going to run round like a Dickov. If you don’t want him, fine, but give back all the vital goals.

The man is a fraud if he can’t function without Kevin. Hardly worth the price of playing with 10 men every game he starts. We have consistently scored goals without a tap in merchant and will continue once we ship him and replace him with a functional football player.

The high line was criminal today. When Donna had to come out twice in the first 10 minutes to stop them from being clean through on goal, it was a sign that we had to play on the edge of our box, especially away from home. They were constantly looking for that through ball into the space, and the two disallowed goals only demonstrated how they were going to eventually score. And when they did you could see it coming a mile off. They hit the crossbar, the post, had two good saves out of Donna, 3 disallowed goals (Last one was very close) and then scored 2. It could've been so much worse, but at no point did Pep think about changing the high line. The space was there the entire game, and they had a field day with it. Donna did not deserve that much exposure and you could see the bewilderment on his face when Mount scored. Had that resigned look of a man being led to the gallows.

We lose that game even with Dalot sent off
You can't say that with any certainty. The whole game changes on that decision.
That said we were hopelessly poor today.
On another note I'd like to have seen the team galvanised and busting a gut for Nunes if there is any slither of truth to what's being said, not fall apart and play like it's their first ever game of football.
