Fernandinho going off allowed us to play the ball through the middle, our wingers were isolated and united came through the middle. The diamond of Gundogan Silva and Bernardo counter attacked that nullifying united, we played more through the middle and this then created space on the wings. After that United weren’t in it.

He cleared out a host of old players. It was more than a tinkering. They love to downplay how shit the Rags are now. Clutching at any straw and excuse.

Giggs only did a bit of tinkering with his brother's Mrs.

As comfortable a league win we have had against the dirty ones for a long while. While we were far from our best, we didn't need to be at our best to win.

Hold Fernandhino is ok, as really need him fit and good to go for the last 3 - but all in all, job done.

What a big result today. That was as good as I have seen the Rags play in quite a few weeks and in the first half we were curiously out of sorts. After the forced change in the second half we were a different team. Gundo suddenly got more involved in the game and started to show more ambition. The movement of Sane, Sterling and Aguero up front started pulling the United defenders out of position and creating more space.

I have to say Gundo is a different player at DM and he could easily be Ferna’s long term replacement as long we have Bernie and either of Merlin or KDB alongside him.

A front line of Leroy, Sergio and Raheem looks by far our most potent option.

On to Burnley. It’s going to be a tough, physical game.

Gundo is great just not with Fern. Fern needs a replacement as he’s more of a steel type grass cutter. Gundo is more of a Spanish, Italian style registar (spelling?) and also proved missing out on Jorginho was a blessing.

We will need to replace Fern with a like for like this summer though as he’s ancient.

Exactly. I had to listen to Gnev waffling on about Citys piss poor defence during the Spurs match.

Which we didnt concede against the 3rd best strikeforce in the prem.

Jeez, just thought Id listen to the end of the R5 commentary to get the flavour.... John Murray sounded like he was commentating a porno featuring his daughter. All the energy and enthusiasm of a man in bed with flu who wakes up to find his pyjamas are drenched with sweat and there are no more tissues.

I think they had to inject him with adrenaline in a break so he could continue post-match, and proclaim that it was obvious that we only one because of De Gea. By the time he said Burnley would cause more problems, he sounded like he might still be interested in football.
