It was an arrogant comment from a couple of tossers. If anything is small time it’s thinking a half-billion squad plus expensive manager don’t need turn up for games they don’t fancy. Even when they are big games for the supporter base. That attitude disrespects our history and it disrespects long-standing fans.

I know I am on in a minority here, but Man United being in the CL is good for Manchester and I'd much rather them be in it than Chelsea.

Err not for me ,better the fuckers loose sponsorship deals and miss out on both CL and EL .

Well no mate it's not a straight choice but we can't win every single game - we were well beaten yesterday but we have something 10 games this month - if you had chosen one game to lose out of the last 4, any sane fan would have picked United.

We didn’t exactly bust a gut against Villa or Wednesday though, did we? Both were relatively weak opponents.

Why should we have to “pick a game to lose” with our vast resources? And, while accepting the need for some rotation, why pick our slowest players against opponents who have already picked us off with speed twice this year? Not to mention an abject Sterling.

you are missing the point mate, i was as gutted as anyone we lost yesterday, and yes i am on a media blackout for a day or two, but it will pass into the midst of time just like most others and when we win again it will be our turn to gloat, rinse and repeat
