United (a) post-match thread

Also Sterling’s form has dropped to the point where I’m questioning if he’s good enough anymore.

Im starting to think this to. When we were at our best, Sterling was just a part of the machine. Sane and sterling both running on to passes from either kev or silva for them to slide in a pass in to each other for a tap in.

If I didn't know any better I'd have said we threw that game.
I'm sure the manager had his reasons to pick the side he did but it was wrong all over the pitch.
Really disappointed in Pep and even more so in the players. Nowhere near the commitment and effort needed to win a league game, never mind the Derby.
Sterling back to his woeful form after a great cameo in Madrid, a back four that looked like they had just been introduced to each other 10 mins before kick off, a midfield that for some reason didn't attack well or defend well, they were kind of just there wondering about a bit lost, a front line that was as toothless as I've seen before and special mention to Eddie who was a special kind of shite,
All in all a bad day and for someone who always tries to be positive after a poor result and defends the team and manager to the hilt, they can fuck off if they think that's acceptable.

Utd defend well but they haven't got much going forward. They didn't cause our defence many problems given we were chasing the game for an hour.

Like i said both teams played to their strengths - they are getting better and we have stood still/gone backwards. They also held out quite easily for over an hour and we created very litle in terms of real open chances.

We just don't look threatening in attack at this time. Been a problem for a couple months tbh.

We desperately need a winger or two in the summer. As soon as one goes off form we have no replacements.
