He got on the ball ..he put in a shift compared to most of our players.
It's hard to cross the ball to a team of midgets .

Our midfield 3 today just wasn’t dynamic enough. Compare that to the peak toure, Fernandinho and silva trio from a few years ago and can see why we didn’t dominate.

Missing Laporte, Walker, mendy, kdb and Sane who would all be in our starting 11 then clear we missed a large chunk of class.

Anyway, onwards and upwards as clearly pep is prioritising the cups.
