United (A) Post Match Thread

On the caf, after the suicidal posts, some sensible rags (!) say the difference was clearly demonstrated by the post match interviews. Pep talks tactics explaining what their game plan was and why, they said, but Ole just talks about the United way.
Pep often doesn't talk tactics after a match either. I suspect some of the "Ole has Pep's number" pre-match chat meant he really, really wanted the world to know exactly how he had beaten him. Some of Pep's shithousery often gets lost for its subtlety or sarcasm, less so this season.

One takeaway from Saturday is Pep learns, Klopp, Tuchel and Solksjaer all had Peps number apparently. Recent results say otherwise, the evolution of a team that had two wingers going wide and Aguero up top that won too back to back titles but had a soft underbelly in pressure games, to the controlled destruction that gets dished out by the current team is a joy to behold.

This concussion substitution business is open to all kinds of devious ploys by certain clubs. Our response was perfect - we will take on your 15 players, 4 officials and god only knows how many at Stockley Park with our 11 good men and true. What is more we will give you a good hiding into the bargain.
If he was concussed then why didn’t they sub him immediately? Why put him back on for a few minutes?
