United (A) Post Match Thread

One takeaway from Saturday is Pep learns, Klopp, Tuchel and Solksjaer all had Peps number apparently. Recent results say otherwise, the evolution of a team that had two wingers going wide and Aguero up top that won too back to back titles but had a soft underbelly in pressure games, to the controlled destruction that gets dished out by the current team is a joy to behold.
And, don't forget, we can "put the ball in the fridge". Brilliant.

All I ask is he has learned enough to not fuck about with the line up next time we’re in a CL final.
And, I noticed, he said we wanted a right footer on the right and a left footer on the left, hence no Grealish. Inverted wingers is too negative for me, I still believe outflanking the packed defence is best. A good cross is still a big weapon.

If he was concussed then why didn’t they sub him immediately? Why put him back on for a few minutes?

That was my thought, why didnt the club doctors spot it straight away ? Theres been a big thing lately about concussion yet the docs didn't spot it.
Or is concussion hard to spot ?

Football should take a leaf out of Rugby's book and have a head impact assessment by the doctors. Think they have ten minutes to either pass or fail. If test is failed the sub who came on stays on as a replacement or if players passes then he comes back on to replace the sub. Not difficult to implement but then football doesn't want to implement anything that makes the game better.

I will never ever forget, only a few weeks ago, not one but a few clowns saying Pep has "No plan B". When I pointed out that his tactics change every match I got the piss taken.

No fucking Plan B because he hasn't brought Peter Crouch out of retirement. One of the most revolutionary tactical manager's in football history.
