I was wondering if we were keeping our powder dry and seeing what the reaction was before coming out and distancing us from it

Consider if you will...city and sheff utd had come up with this plan which was then rejected by every other club, can you even imagine sky, BBC, talkshite et al.

What are Sky up to?

Sky were saying all along that the proposals were widely approved off by the rest of the clubs, they cant bring themselves to say anything bad about the history clubs

Because it was a shameless power grab not even partly disguised by the bribe to the lower league clubs, why wouldn't they vote against it? Do you really think they have no shame?

Wouldn't it be easier to not put it to a vote? Or did they pretend that they were not the orchestrators?

Thing is, we don't know the full story of what our club wanted, personally I'd like to know just how involved we were, my hope is that we were responsible for it being kicked into touch, but we might never know.

I find it hard to believe Khaldoon would agree to let Soriano get into serious and legitimate negotiations with the Glazers and Henry....
