United and Liverpool EFL project - proposal rejected

  • Later Premier League start in August to give greater scope for pre-season friendlies, and requirement for all clubs to compete once every five years in a summer Premier League tournament.
Where exactly in the world would these games be staged?

Answers on a post card.

Hope we go nowhere near this crock of shit, them two detestable, grubby, horrible scummy twats have done everything possible too sink our club.
They were determined too ruin us and along with 8 other jam rags sent a letter to CAS, anything that has the possibilities of improving them we should steer clear and avoid like the plague, but I fear our owners will play ball and that for me is a very sad day for football.

This has pissed me off nearly as much as Stepbrothers being voted into the best 100 movies of all time.

Reducing domestic games leaves the door open for a lucrative european or world league, i'm cynical and believe that's what they will do.

I agree hence why I mentioned it but I do not get it who cares about playing the Romanian champions or even a big club in Brazil or some other powerhouse of footballer rather play Leeds for example and I dont remember them being in the top flight I even think other global football fans would rather watch a team like leeds than Romanian champions the quality has got to be better

Surely there will be something hidden in these changes where the rags and dippers can cash in on their huge global support.
I don't think there is anything hidden here. Eventually, it says, there will be 6 clubs running the PL and these will no doubt be American owned. They can then get rid of relegation, divvy all the money up between themselves in a variety of nefarious ways, look at the books of the opposition while no doubt hiding their own corrupt doings in off-shore tax-havens, even change the rules so that no team playing in a red shirt can have a penalty awarded against them. The skies the limit for these degenerates if this goes through.

4 fewer games per year. Less fixture congestion. More time for a PL winter break.

Add in the league cup going away and the community shield and we'd have played 11 fewer games last season.

No. There would not be fewer games. Just a new International tournament owned by the top clubs keeping all the proceeds. Whether that is preferable or not. It is a takeover move, the reaction of the premier league statement is a clear indication of this.

Overseas television money and where Liverpool and United think it should end up is the motivation, it is not philanthropic.
