United and Liverpool EFL project - proposal rejected

I would be in favour of the majority of the proposals if it weren’t for the power grab. Given carte blanch to do what they want I don’t trust these twats not to move the goal posts afterwards. If you replaced the voting principle so that all clubs who’ve completed three consecutive seasons get a vote and the vote needs to be a majority then I’d go for that.

The article does and states we are in it.

Definitely a power grab and one I expect City will no doubt support.

I think it's quite obvious that City are in the nine. It would lose all credibility if we weren't.

Will be interesting to see if the PL agree - two sides cut which really only can be from about 10, and six being able to cut more when they choose. Looks like a tough sell to me.

A lot of posters on here saying that they hope City are not involved in this, but of course we are where else do we go to play football? we have to be in whatever competition is played at the top level. We are a professional sports team, one of the best in the world at what we do. We may be all for it, or against it but unfortunately we are going to have to be in it .

first he's around when all those damaging leaks about our UEFA case emerged, then the Wigan scandal when he was putting his foot in his mouth and now this. He's there for a reason and if we had any moral fibre he would be investigated all the way back up to his backers and the whole thing taken down.
He was more than just around. He was a member of UEFA's IC kangaroo court panel and was leaking confidential stuff to the NYT and AP while the bent process was still continuing.

Not if we vote against it so it does not happen.

surely this has to get enough votes to get through.

City voting for this would be like turkeys voting for christmas.

If you think we are at disadvantage now, it would be 10 times worse.

Anything United and Liverpool push for, its only for their benefit.

For example if this would make City's position stronger, they would not push for this.

Are Sky in on this as well? Owned by Comcast and promoting it as a positive.

I bet Jim Shite and the rich Robbie Savage do the same.

I hope our club is not on board with this and vocally opposing it. I doubt it mind.
