United and Liverpool EFL project - proposal rejected

It's interesting that Jason Burt in the Telegragh (who have broken the original story) has written an excellent piece detailing that this is effectively a takeover by six clubs to decide everything in the future. As he correctly states, power is money and they will ensure they will be getting the lions share going forward. The only thing that will matter is what is in the interests of those clubs.
Who does he say are the 6 clubs? I can guess at least 5, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea, but who is the other?

After Khaldoon’s statements I cannot for the life of me see us getting into bed with the likes of Liverpool as he will know it won’t be long until he is stabbed in the back.

Or, is it misinformation again with the red clubs trying to take control and other teams being used for support without their consent, and that’s why the PL statement soon followed?

Then we find out that Parry has been dithering on the package offered by the PL only for him to then support it with caveats that help is beloved club. Note that he only mentions Liverpool and United, the 2 traditional clubs, in his statement, as if it is only those 2 driving it.

I much preferred football before the premier league came into being. Its gone from being a working class game to something that's driven by money, politics and power, getting a bit sick of it. The premier league and sky have a lot to answer for, they've stolen our game.

We get mentioned along with the five you listed and he refers to the 'Big Six' with the other three listed as an afterthought (which is what they will be). He is spot on when he says that there are a few 'goodies' being put out there to try and mask the fact that it is a brazen takeover attempt.

If our club is going along with it we are no better than the ones most of us loathe.

If this isn't a set of rules to feather your own nest I don't know what is. Burnley will probably go along with it because their fucking stupid. If City go along with it then were stupid as well.

Cheers. Good to see that the sports media are seeing right through this. Will have to wait and see which of the others react, or don’t in some cases. That will give us a Further hint to who these plans are attributed.

Another shameful power grab motivated by greed. I hope City and enough others tell them to do one but I doubt it somehow.
