Again completely ignoring the inflation of transfer fees as United fans love to do since they were splashing out money in the 80s and 90s. Andy Cole, British transfer record at £7million. That'll get you half of Stephen Fletcher today. Also, put Rooney, Veron, and Ferdinand's transfers into an inflation calculator.

According to that inflation calculator thingy, the camel-gobbed one's fee is equivalent To £39 in today's money.

And that's not accounting for the rise in transfer fees in the last ten years.

Absolute steal at 39 quid.....
