United game postponed due to bomb scare

it will be an empty smelly toilet on tues night.just a few rats scurrying about playing a meaningless little game which no one is interested in,no one at all...
That's funny because after our draw against arsenal they all came out the woodwork gobbing off and full of it as was the media , it was van gaal this and van gaal that and then after Tuesday they all disappeared again. I think it'll be packed to the rafters against Bournemouth as the bigheaded rag twats will probably think they will win 19-0.

It is hilarious. Some poor sod goes into the bog desperate for a shit. Just as he's about to curl one out then he notices a bomb strapped to the bog door. He has to decide immediately to either take his chances and have a shit or call the stewards. Stan from Essex decides to take a dump, the place stinks, a canary carries out the security check as it stinks and the rest is history. What a farce that club have become.

And to think, we've followed/copied their CL away trips security measures. Sorry, had to get the in.

Holmes on Sky this Morning.

Creaming himself how United have handeled their farce. All the blame is being already being put on the security firm.

Once again, United's PR and media department are in overdrive. The phone's must have been going non-stop last night.
Anyone who actually believes united come out of this with any credit is irredeemably thick.

Whenever a commercial pilot sits in his cockpit prior to taking off he should never for a moment forget his responsibility to the people who are in his charge for the next few hours. That means adhering to procedures, double checking everything and fully concentrating at all times. It's what he gets paid 80 grand a year for.

Football clubs have a similar responsibility when tens of thousands of supporters converge on their ground. They must take every available, reasonable step to ensure those supporters' safety. This has to include a thorough search of all public areas prior to allowing entry to the ground, as this step is both entirely reasonable and readily available to them. How could anyone suggest otherwise? The fact that a terrorist threat is reasonably foreseeable further accentuates their culpability.

united have miserably failed in their duty of care to those that trust it with their safety. The fact they have sub-contracted part of their security regime is a complete ignoratio elenchi to that fact. As owners and operators of that ground it is their responsibility to take all necessary steps to ensure it is sufficiently safe, which they have conspicuously failed to do by failing to spot this device, irrespective of its purpose. I fail to see how anyone could argue otherwise with a straight face.

If you've got a cup final on Saturday would you run yourself into the ground and risk injury on a Tuesday night trying to score 19 goals? I wouldn't be surprised if they threw both games so they could get a free run at the league next season. Something very odd has happened here and will be very interesting to see what it is when it comes out in the wash. No doubt it will be hidden deep away inside the corridors of power with the old Trafford fax machine.
Sorry did you just say get a free run at the league next year? Exactly which league are you on about? Surely not the premier league? If they did get a free run at the league they'd still fuck it up with the melted welly in charge.

Well if relegation survivors Leicester can land a premier league surely the health and safety neglectors at old toilet can dare to dream.

The BBC putting a positive spin on it,akin to what, god forbid, rag radio must be like Its all about how well they handled it getting fans out safely, yet not as quick as the 1:6 though. They even had a Bournemouth fan say that she was happy as at least she got to see the inside of the stadium! despite an 11 hour round trip! No one saying they want compensation for this farce or questioning the procedures. Would also a question of the licensing authorities allowing another event so soon despite the fact that fans were allowed in when this device had been in place for four days.

I would also ask if the ratepayers of Gt Manchester will be reimbursed for the cost of emergency services attending

This Inoratio Elenchi, does he track back?

As a slight aside, have any journalists mentioned what a disgrace it is that they haven't made top four after "spending all that money"?

Its still very much a transitional stage they are going through mate and this season was always all about unleashing Rashford and the next instalment of the famous youth set up on world football.

As for the farce yesterday, trust me, heads will roll both at the security form and within their own security team as a sweep should have been made before the game and any supporters let in. The fact it either did and they didn't find it or the scenario where they didn't bother will have serious repercussions.

I also think the PL will take them to task given their recent record of delayed kick offs etc culminating in yesterdays abandonment as the hit to TV schedules and no doubt fines etc will be passed on as a minimum.
