United (H) - League Cup SF 2nd Leg Post-Match Thread

Forget the score, forget the performance, we are through to yet another Cup Final, a place we would have been if we had won 10-0 in both legs.......
Yes we were poor tonight but we still got the job done, the only downside is getting beat by an awful rag side down to 10 men..... It's not Peps fault we missed half a dozen sitters, the players need to take that on the chin.....

Fuck the rags, we won't even remember tonight on 1st March, neither will they ....

My biggest complaint is not putting them to sleep at their place, that would have prevented the anguish they have just put us through ....

Typical City.............. We are in another Cup Final ...

Oh and what that pulling it back for a foul throw when we were through on goal? Fine, give a foul throw, but give it when it happens. It's stuff like that that makes you think the ref is corrupt.

For the record, can you not play advantage from a foul throw?

We are through to he final so well done for that but we have got a major rebuild on to reclaim the title from Liverpool. That was shocking tonight and sterling should not be on that pitch at the minute . Just remember twice this season this shit Utd team has done us at home

That United side is as bad as it gets and their fans know it and we know it and we play a "back 2" and continue to look a little bit lost. Still...fuck em! Sterling needs a holiday or two lets be honest, he's shit at the moment - like really really bad.
Jesus on a minute. Takes down a sky high ball beautifully and wins a corner in extra time.
He plays it to Raheem to keep possession but immediately loses it in the corner for a goal kick.

Summed Raheem up at the moment. Absolutely nothing happening for him.
Never mind a holiday. Send him to a shrink. His head is gone.

Good first half by far the better team, should have been a couple of goals ahead on balance.

Second half, what happened? Passing went to pot and United took confidence from our shaky patch and then nerves set in. We got some control back about 10 mins before Silva came on and United didn't threaten much after Silva came on besides a freekick needlessly given away... I had to just laugh how Bravo manages to make himself look smaller by crouching down before the kick is taken.

I think people are giving United far too much credit though, City created their own problems and even in their best period of the game they barely created a chance, can't remember too many in the whole game.
