If Scruffy really is a great businessman he'll analyse the problem and come up with an appropriate solution.
Is it that players aren't good enough or can they not adapt to the coach's tactics? Is the coach not good enough or are his tactics not suitable for the players he's got or the Premier League.
Is a suitable replacement (Southgate please) available?
This is the same at many clubs and they realise change takes time. But "this is manchoonited we're talking about" and there is little patience amongst the peasants. Scruffy has got away with it so far, but he'll soon catch some flak if Ineos really are running the football side.
The pitchforks, torches and zebra pants would have been out in force on Sunday night had they not benefitted from a ludicrous late winner against Burnley a few weeks ago.
As for saving Amorim: Fuck that. The occasional three points might keep him there, but I was at the swamp in 1974 and I want to see them relegated again so I don't want them getting any points whatsoever, unless it helps City.

The same scruffy Jim who hired Dan Ashworth for player recruitment & sacked him a couple of months later at a cost of about £4m. It makes you wonder if he only invested £1.25bn to get his hands on freightliner land on the cheap

I agree.

It's a piss poor look for someone on the board of the, so called, biggest club in the world.

You would think that his wife / secretary / mistress / boyfriend would book him into a £2,000.00 spa for a haircut, facial, manicure, and a full back, sack and crack.

He reminds me of one of those homeless people you sometimes see, who it transpires have got millions sat in a bank.
 
Nearly all the post-derby analysis has concentrated on the rags , and Amorim's, failings. City have had to settle for sneering assertions that we're a long way from our best. Most City fans realise that we may have to wait before we ever get back to the levels of the treble winners - if indeed we ever do. And on Sunday our passing was not the quickfire, one touch, accurate version of the past and some of it was sloppy. But then this is a different team to that of two years ago, and it made a right mess of a rag team which has shown "clear and obvious progress" from last season. If we look at City more closely we can see that the spine of the team is strong, experienced and NOT old; Donnarumma, Dias, Gvardiol, Rodri, Reinders, Foden and Haaland is as good as any other in the PL, and when some of our purchases and youngsters are considered the outlook seems very bright. How bright for this season we don't know, and whether we'll dominate in the way we did in Pep's first ten years can't be foretold but I bet we'll all enjoy going to watch City .... and we'll certainly look forward to, and enjoy, derby day!

Just wait til the stand is open and we sell out against the likes of Bournemouth, then you can go back and say how it shows how Bournemouth are a bigger draw these days... ;)

Just heard Mark Ogden say on ESPN that the reason why they have mocked him since he signed for City is because he's been so poor. Where has this ridiculous take come from because he and the others couldn't have watched him.
