United (H) Post Match Thread

I’ve honestly not felt this bad about City since we last got relegated. This is hard to take, very fucking hard!

Can’t believe the total capitulation that happened. I said after the game on Wednesday that every one of them had gone down in my estimations, well, after yesterday they’ve lost me a bit that team. I don’t feel the same about them as I did.

Very fucking hard to take!

To me (don’t give a shit that many will say I’m overreacting), it doesn’t matter what goes on before if you make fuck ups like the last week, when it’s really mattered, it sours the whole season for me!

We may very well go on to win the league but all this shit we’ve been spouting about breaking records and being the best team in Premier League history has gone out of the window. I’m sure I’ll get over it and feel better about it but this is a bad one... furious!

Chin up mate, believe about Tuesday and get back behind them.

I feel exactly the same mate. In the car with the famiy on the way to skegness for a few days and im in a right fuckin mood with pep guardiola and mcfc

If we took our chances we would have won today. Cant see how Pep can be blamed. I would have liked him to lay into the crap officiating post match interview though. we are too soft on that. Klopp, Mourinho and Pocahontas at Spurs are constantly whining and getting into the ears of officials

Agree about Pep shouldn’t get the blame because first half we should of been out of site. What I do question Pep on is not seeing what was happening and when it went to 2-1 he should of made a sub.

You give yourself a much better chance of scorning the 4 though with your best goal scorers on the pitch. Something we didn't have yesterday until it was too late.

From peps end of the telescope he would have been satisfied at half time that his team were dominant and bossing the game, and he probably expected that starting 11 to scoring more and seeing the game out. When we switched off, he should have changed things earlier and have stated earlier that my only criticism of Pep yesterday was the timeliness of subs

We are all bitter that we lost to the rags, especially after starting the way we did, but I would expect any outfield player in those situations to at least have force DeGea to make a save.

Yes, I am sure Kun would not have missed, but he would not necessarily have had the exact same chances Sterling did

Yes its hypothetical that sergio woukd have even had thise chances but ill never understand starting such a huge game without a striker.

Yesterday has took the edge off what has been a dream season so far....will I be like a kid in sweet shop when winning the league actually happens in a few weeks?...no ....just feels like the season has fizzled out without a fight after so much work has been put in

Should have been 4 up at HT possibly 5 if the pen had been given. Then some dubious ref behaviour in the second half didn't help the cause but we were very very unlucky not to win comfortably and that's the nature of the beast at this level..

They’ll still be people out there saying sterling can strike a football, that’s the best bit. Awful selection, pep doesn’t get it

Last time I checked, didnt we sign Pep for games like Liverpool (CL) and winning league against the rags? We all know the football has been amazing this season and all the credit should go to Pep for that but if I'm going to give him credit for the wonderful football, I think its only fair we can question his decisions when things go poorly. Whether we like it or not we fell apart in the 2 biggest games of the season, we should all be concerned about that....

Given we all know what a perfectionist Pep is, he certainly wouldnt have been happy at half time, did you see his reactions to the Sterling misses?

We should have started a derby, at home, for a potential title winning game, with a striker on the pitch.
