United (H) Post Match Thread

Jesus wept, this must be my first post, but we....MCFC, have Pep Guardiola as manager, and players that make the fans of other teams tongues hang out; look at how we play football!!! sometimes we won't get it right.....think of your boss at work and then imagine being managed by Guardiola!!...... remember sitting in the 2nd division as was? The football that we have seen this season has been eye watering sublime, an absolute dream to watch; to see some of the play and players we now have gracing the turf? We aren't going to win every game, suck it up, taste the defeats its what we're built on, "typical City...its in our DNA" we have Pep Guardiola as manager, just reflect and let that sink in again!! and the scousers and rags have made it a painful week but suck it up for Gods sake....we're MCFC "we never win at home and we never win away"......that's our song for good reason, we didn't just make it up off the hoof......r*d ca*e is in meltdown because they beat us "shi**y MCFC" 3-2 at home......let that sink in...the "mighty U*D" celebrating beating US at home! Onward and upwards, Pep Guardiola as manager......think of the sh*te we've had in the past and then just reflect on Pep Guardiola as manager
You should be on RAWK.

Sport has nothing to do with real life tragedies and to compare the two is pathetic.
I understand what he means though we lost tough shit, let them rejoice in beating us like we did when we had the odd win against them fuckers how times have changed

Last couple of games have put a dampener on the whole season for me. Just want the season over with now please, watch the World Cup and then we can go again in August

The sight of Gill and the GPC told me we would never win that...

With extra help from officials mostly in the second half...

Home against Swansea, Huddersfield & Brighton. Away West Ham, Spurs, Southampton.
Settle down.

Could have won it against the rags but now will win against the mighty Swansea or Huddersfield. Sure it's good to win the league but its a chance of a lifetime lost.

I know he scored a decent goal today but we need to replace Gundogan, he’s fucking hopeless. Soooooooo slow.

He's looked marginalised I agree. He has moments though that show what he was like last season before the injury....next year I think he's back to his best. Those injuries are 2 year injuries.

If we concede a goal someone needs to take responsibility and ensure that we keep it tight for the next 15, 20 minutes. Don’t take risks. Don’t turn the ball over. Don’t commit stupid fouls. Kill the game. Knock it around the park, give yourselves easy passes. Whenever we let one in we look like we’re going to ship another two or three. Just no game management at all.

Exactly what I just said to my brother on the phone.

More pragmatism required at crucial stages of the game. We saw a lack of this, both tonight and last Wednesday against Liverpool.

Ah well, they won the battle but we win the war. I can live with that. Proper shitshow in the second half though. Ridiculous we didn’t get a pen, mind you. Atkinson was giving us nothing today.

Irrelevant that we rested players. We were 2.0 and our players are responsible for collapsing. Didn't help that most of the ground stayed in the bar for second half kick off. Atmosphere was a disgrace given the scoreline.

Sterling's finishing is appalling. Those were big chances to kill the game... he needs to sort it out.

Atkinson not giving the pen was a disgrace and genuinely does make you wonder about corruption in the sport.

Exactly this. I was thinking where the fuck is everyone like it's Stoke at home!!

Collapse in atmosphere, no booing rags, no cheering every city touch.

Everyone thought it was won.. it wasn't
