Utd lost it from 8 ahead with only 5 games left....further complacency from City, like we saw today, should not be acceptable

Of the 8, 3 were against us. And we don't have to play them again, which I guess we should be thankful about, given our recent league form against them.

21 wins on the bounce, romping away with the PL, one foot in the CL quarter finals, in the league cup final and FA cup quarter finals..

Why then does it all feel a bit shit at the moment ?

As you say, we aren't doing that bad, the team have set such high standards over the last few years and the 21 game run is pretty incredible.

Todays performance was below our recent standard, be it due to team selection, a dip in form or tiredness, or just unlucky off day.

Whoever beat us on the run was going to feel crap, being Utd makes a bit worse.

We go again Pep will use it has motivation. Let's win the next 21, probably get us a few trophies.

Hopefully this reminds the players that it matters not who you are playing against and nothing can be taken for granted and moments can cost you the game.

Luckily this was is in a game that matters not for a trophy. If this was in the FA cup or champs league or league cup final a lot more would have been lost. Pep just needs to remind them that the glory and greatness can be taken away easily by any team and that they’ve not won anything yet.

21 victories counts for nothing if you switch off in important moments. Luckily this hasn’t cost us a trophy.

Ruined my birthday weekend yet again the Red tw@ts. We’re just imbalanced all over the pitch, with none of our usual prowess on show. Next game please to get rid of this and Onto the league crown

We didnt take one of at least half a dozen presentable chances but the Rags took a couple of theirs , it happens at the Etihad virtually every game we play against these shithouses , Sterling never does anything against the Rags or Dippers why Pep selects him is curious.
We will have to take solace with a few trophies at the end of the season , the Rags can have the Thursday cup.

In boxing, sometimes a much weaker fighter beats his opponent because of the style of each fighter. Our style just suits the rags down to the ground. You're 100% right he just cannot seem to grasp how important winning Derby's is to us. Regardless our league postistion or how any points we do or don't have, we always want to beat those fuckers every time we play them. Somebody at the club should be drilling this into his head.

Thats nonsence. Any team can go behind in the first 5 minutes to a silly mistake, that does not define the rest of the match. Last week you said best to save Foden, and Silva for the derby. So why didn't Pep play them? I love Pep as much as any City supporter but I simply don't get why with game we want to win more than any game he keeps picking a team that plays into utd's hands.
No doubt Foden and Silva will play against the mighty Southampton.
