Tbh mate even with all them attempts you mentioned I don’t remember Henderson having to make one good save .We took a while, but I thought we responded by taking control after the first 10-15 minutes, creating enough chances to have at least drawn level, and for 30 minutes of the first half we played much as we have for the previous 21 games.
Then we had half time, and almost immediately gifted them a second through our own mistakes.
After that we still created enough chances to turn it around, but Sterling, Gundogan, Jesus, and others couldn't find the goal.
We had 23 goal attempts to their 8, so we should be winning that.

There was still 89 minutes to go to devise another plan. Why are our players not saying at the end of the game that they heard the ref say something? There is a precedent for this and you can't get punished.We ended up giving them the game they wanted with that penalty. If Pep wanted control he shouldn’t have started with a forward and made the first 20 minutes as slow as possible. They managed that at Anfield but failed to to it here.
