I remember bucket head ( Tony O'Neil) saying the while MIB thing came about by accident really. They often wore black trousers and shoes to get into clubs on their return to Manchester after the game. I think it was Leeds away when the Leeds fans remarked how all the rag mob were all in black and the myth started from there, they played on the kudos and fear it generated
