Its 3 points closer to 4th place thats all I care about. Personally i can't wait to see the back of this season although I will take a moment and raise a glass to Leicester who i hope wins it for football's sake. They are worthy champions.

5am Monday morning KO for me too, then straight off to work. Never great going in after a defeat, especially against that lot. That said, there is only 1 rag in my office and he has no idea when they are playing so should be safe. Hopefully I will be going in happy in the knowledge that we have won the derby and been given a favourable draw in the Champs League!

pep has helped city even before coming over. defeating juventus has assured 4th spot for an english team next CL.

demi shouldn't get near the team. However neither should mangala, chuck a kid in there...

Beat United, boost morale, catch Arsenal... who are utter dog shite, and we will be happy.

Can't see a problem with the centre backs. Otamendi and Mangala will be fine as will Demi and Mangala provided they have adequate protection in front of them. Whether the manager will do that is another question.

Vinny's one of our best ever centre backs, so of course we're a better side with him there but Otamendi and Mangala have lots of experience of playing together and would be fine. It's more of a media thing with Kompany. They know he gets injured quite often these days and want everyone, us included, to assume we can't cope without him. All the stats they use are skewed to this end.

Last six league games last season without Vinny, (Demi and Mangala I think) 18 points with 4 goals conceded. Previous six league games with Vinny, 9 points with 10 goals conceded. An anomaly? Maybe, but you can do anything with stats.
 
I think we will need either MDM or Mangala in the team to combat Fellani when they start playing it long.
Without one of them we have a distinct lack of aerial ability
