Well at least the Scum will not set about us at 100 mph like Liverpool do, they will sit back and wait to hit us on the break or use their height advantage at free kicks and corners.

Pep has his work cut out to get the moral back on track after the humiliation on Merseyside.

I'll take a draw now.

Take a draw- bollocks

The rags game was always the most important for some of us especially if your a Manc.

I'm not a Manc, and I'll tell you what. It's always, always been the most important game for me, over fifty years. And it's pretty bloody important for them too, whatever they may say. We must win this. It's not a question of the points. It's a question of restoring the pride of the club.

So if we win the league here are the players gonna pretend like they didn't just get humiliated in the competition that really matters?

So they should not celebrate winning the hardest league in Europe at a canter
About to break all records
Just because they lost a cup game
Some people like you act so spoiled
No one deserved to win anything
So when you do you can celebrate as much as you like

The thing is the rags have the capability to cause us as many if not more problems than Liverpool did last night if Mourihno applied them correctly.

On paper they have a better keeper, defence and midfield. Up front they have the pace in Rashford and Martial and there is Lukaku and Sanchez who are good players on their day.

I'm worried about this game now after last night. Mental and physical fatigue plus changing players could see them beat us.

every rag fan i know has said they'd be surprised to see anywhere near a full strength City side this weekend, the league is won and we have to concentrate on trying to rescue the Liverpool tie. They all said this independently. Says a lot.

Ha ha ! Naughty boy !

Just realised you meant better than Liverpool. Undoubtedly true.

Just hammer the bastards and all will be forgiven. I despise this lot. For years they were lying to us saying they hated dippers more etc.. So why did I get numerous texts yesterday saying 'Come on the dippers'.. and 'I hope the murderers rip you a new one' etc etc ?? Why ?? Because they are lying, snide self entitled bastards that's why ! We need this on Saturday, COME ON CITY! !

Winning the title against the rags could be the catalyst to something special on the Tuesday. The feelgood factor around the whole club could spur the players on to achieve greatness. An early goal on Tuesday and the fans in full voice could see the dippers arses go a bit.

Like some have said, the players and Pep should basically view this as having just 2 games left this season and go all out.

We've not done too badly considering we've played pretty much the whole of the season without a left back and with only 2 strikers (who are hardly ever both available at the same time). I'd love to see a surprise start for Mendy in this and Stones deserves his place back. If Aguero is fit too and starting with both Sane and Sterling, we'll eventually break them down. 2-0!
As for next season, please get a 3rd striking option, would have been great to have been able to throw on a 2nd up front last night (Mario anyone!)

Totally agree. Winning this will put the players on a real high for Tuesday.

Yep, I'd sack off resting players for Tuesday. Try and win this to give everyone a lift and just see how it goes on Tuesday. I'd say there's probably a 90% chance we're already out so fuck it.

Said more in hope than expectation?

I think he has to play the strongest possible team, but I fully expect that he won't.

Yep full strength Saturday. Back to back loses will make Tuesday harder than if some players are a few % more tired
Early goal and adrenaline will get them through Tuesday
