United Home League Cup Tickets

The point about the 48,000 City fans for a League Cup game really is the one to make. That's a good effort. Let's hope the 51k crowd forecast is true.

There are 2331 online now (but as per previous comments the true number available will be higher. How much higher?? We wait and see).

I was well impressed watching the Villa v Leicester game with the euphoria at the end when they come on the pitch. I wonder what watching Liverpool fans think? They say they are not interested in the domestic Cups but really they must be.

I watched the Villa fans and they were exactly like us 10 years ago. The novelty of glory does change as your club gets better. To feel like that for me now would require getting to and even winning the champions league.

They’ll just toe the party line.... that’s what cults do

sure they will be a vacant seats in the corporate bit as there always are.

Chuffed for villa - if we get there it will be a good atmosphere and colourful day.

might need to rethink my route should we prevail. Did the M40 last year and train straight to Stadium from Bicester. Great route. Guess Villa will be all over that route on those midlands trains.

There’s thousands of Blues who sort their tickets off the unofficial FB pages. Loads of them won’t meet the ticket criteria. I sort tickets for my brother and his mate for every home game and I doubt they have the criteria either. I try to encourage him to sort his Supporters Number / membership but he’s not interested.

ps loads of the people attending the Real Madrid game might like City but they aren’t City fans. Friends would have sorted their tickets etc.

I think that’s a lame excuse. You only need to have been to 3 previous games in the last few years. All those thousands you mention- your honestly saying that they have no points and have never bought a few tickets off the website or the ground?

you can buy tickets for tomorrow online/ Facebook aswell

most fans buy tickets from the website or the ground anyway.

I think the reality is our core fan base is about 45,000.

I think the cost of that madrid game forced a fair number of blues to make a choice. I think I paid £52.50. I try not to think about it.
Don't know why the club put the Madrid tickets on sale so early. Forcing non cup scheme members to shell out way in advance of the game. I'm in the cup scheme and I bet the money won't go out for ages. The early sale of the Madrid tickets will definitely have had an adverse effect on the ticket sales for the Derby and for Fulham. A lot of people will have had to make a choice on which to go to. Madrid tickets could have gone on sale at the end of February which is after another payday for most

If we want bigger crowds we need a bigger fan base, and it’s hard to attract new UK fans when we get such appalling tv, radio and written media shit thrown at us. It’s surely time the club started to fight back (not with flares at peoples homes I should add) and put these media clowns straight and stand up for the history of the club and it’s brilliant fans. Put Gary James in on the press conferences not Vicky kloss, for a start

Liverpool fans are the bestest fans ever and they are above pitch invasions. They laughed at Shrewsbury fans for it at the weekend ffs. Pitch invasions are so small time don't you know...so I had a quick peek on rawk for a bit of Dipper bingo. And there it was:

"Villa fans making sure everyone knows they're small time sister fuckers"
