United (massive mini) Parade

Classic Thread!

I've asked every Rag I know if they went to their parade and not one of them did.

Excuses were:
Oh I forgot
I was out
It was raining
I watched it on tv
I've seen it all before

Funny thing is one of them, Mr Big I am, Mr United himself is now trying to say I'm talking bollocks, after the joke messages I have bombarded him with today about their pathetic turnout. He never even went himself!! Haha

He is under the illusion we were only at Albert Sq and the Ground nowhere else on the streets?? Told him the pics and vids all over the net prove the truth.

Think he is a bit upset now, (he probably knows I'm right) because he is now bombarding me with texts about their ground is always full and ours isn't, and they have won the league 19 times, blah, blah, blah.

Shame he never made up the small numbers to celebrate it then!

LOL!

Saddo!

Had the same response from the few rags I know - thing they don't get though is that no one is disputing the rags (currently) are a bigger club than us - but this propoganda that they have tried to fuel that they are bigger than us in Manchester just because they get bigger attendances has been blown out of the water, the parade has just proven that most of those attending their games are just day trippers and very few actual Mancs.

Its proven beyond doubt that Manchester is BLUE !

I have submitted a question on the MEN live webchat that is happening at 12pm. I have asked why they think the turnout was so poor yesterday, was it because of the bad weather? I would be very surprised if my question sees any kind of answer!

Well strangely my question was the 1st Pete Spencer answered......

Peter Spencer: i thought it was great considering weather and the sat result

Love it!

Yeah, just read it. Hilarious.

Lad at work went and said there were no more than a few thousand on Deansgate, He could freely walk with this bus and barrier was only one deep in most places.

He reckons from what others he knows said there were about 10,000 near the ground.

The parade accross the road?

Anyone know what the turnout was yesterday? looked really bad from the tele pics, papers saying 200,000 turned out. Surely not.

-- Tue May 31, 2011 11:13 am --

Sorry mods delete please. I am stupid

1 post classic........is this a first ??

I asked Peter:

Which Manchester club had a bigger turnout in the parades? Looking at pictures and figures provided by GMP it would suprisingly look like City attracted far larger crowds.

and got the neutral response of:

Citys was more immediate and of course hasnt happened for while and weather better. also there was a party at end. United timing was odd and of course there was the barcelona factor...and rain. Looked pretty similar to me...and on that less than controversial note I can only take one more question because have a paper to plan. Thanks for taking part everyone and lets hope the summer isnt too boring

Reading between the lines it would seem that he agrees City got more but he is not willing to say it in case one side feels he is being bias.

Which means he isn't telling the truth. He is a dick of the highest order anyway. Didn't get any of my 10 or 12 questions answered, can't imagine why...

MUTV have released new pictures of United's '19th' Bank Holiday parade showing an estimated 150,000 United fans lining the streets of Manchester and Trafford.

These pictures and many more will form a Sky Sports News 30 minute Special on United's legendary 19th parade.

Sky presenter Mike Wedderburn will be hosting the 30 minute special tonight from 7.30pm on Sky Sports News.

*Unfortunately nobody at United will be able to attend, so the Specials, Bjork and The Clowns(think about it) will make up the guest panel.*

just shows what a lying twat he is really

there were no-where near as many scum there as there were city
easily outnumbered them ten-one

The timing thing is laughable. Bank holiday was a much more ideal time than the 6pm start we had. I know many blues who couldn't get there from work in time.

Timing was an issue???

It was a fucking public holiday ffs.

What this does show is the media biased slant towards the rags in all its fucking ugliness and let nobody tell me there isn't one!

A fucking plastic club with plastic fans, only interested in associating themselves with success and glory and a media happy to play along in perpetrating the myths.

The whole question and answers is complete FARCE he is not going to say anything controversial and he will NOT say anything negative about the scum doesn't want to upset his readers from the scum side!

Just seen the MEN in the shop.

Pages 2 and 3 parade special.

All close up shots of the bus, fans(outside the megastore), etc.

And you wonder why it's nicknamed the MUEN.
