Erl on another level today. Honourable mentions Phil and Jeremy. Donna great debut and Khus solid too.
 
What the fuck has Erling been eating? That was his best all round performance in a City shirt. Wonderful.
Kudos to Phil, Donny, Khus, Jeremy as well. Each of them in their own way very very good.

I wouldn’t discount that at all. EH’s comments ahead of the match were also really blunt about the players being better. No excuses. The camaraderie on the pitch today across the board was really, really heartening.
 
There are five or six players with a genuine shout for MotM today. Foden, Doku, Khusanov and Dias were all great but that was a World Class performance by Haaland today so it has to be him.

The three players you mention did struggle bit, but they never let their heads drop, and they continued to work hard ... and that can make all the difference to a team winning or losing.

Too many of our players just didn't maintain their workrate once Brighton had equalised against us ... or once Spurs had taken the lead !!!

Haaland

Great to see Foden back too.

I had to give it to Haaland not just for the goals but for his all round display. But Doku deserves a special mention for his creative effectiveness.
 
Donnarumma for me. One of those few half chances first and especially second half could have gone the wrong way if not for him. Bossing set pieces as well, so crucial
 
Haalands was a complete performance as he’s ever put in for us, literally unplayable. Doku, Foden win it any normal week. Kush, (surprisingly) Dias O’Reilly and Kush all excellent too.

*Edit forgot Donna, those punches and “that” save.. great debut.

Haaland by a mile. Best striker and best centre half. Back 4 was brilliant with Gvardiol playing in his natural position and Khus snuffed out every attack on utd's left. Big shout out to O'Reilly who had Ahmed n Mbemo in his pocket... top performance by the lad !
 
Toss up between Foden and Haaland. Foden was the most consistent overall so gave it to him. Also call outs to Doku, Dias as Khusanov- they were very good.
Donnarumma made a great save at 2-0 and was immense commanding the box.
