United Post Match Thread

I wish he would keep walking, out of the door, out of Manchester and out of the fucking country. As far away from us as possible.

They have an opportunity to fire him now. We have two weeks before we play again. There must be someone available who could come in for the rest of the season, get paid very well for doing so and get these fuckers playing again.
I wish the clueless old **** had have carried on walking out of the stadium and straight under a bus on Ashton road

I feel like **** for thinking that too but I am seriously considering it.
Are you fuckin ill? You think a professional manager would do that? Bravo flower fuckin bravo. You no what I hate having all this money and success and having nobhead fuckin pricks like you jumping on the bandwagon and spouting shite like that.

I agree, this is the last chance the board have to give us a chance of a top 4 finish. Better light years too late than never.

I'd even take Rodgers over him. That's how desperate it is for me. They won't do anything though. They will think that we actually have a chance of winning the CL - PSG will see to that one and by that time it's too late.

We must act now.

I'm still not entirely clear on why we got rid of Mancini? I heard he was a right hard ass, but isn't it good to have that kind of discipline? What we're seeing now is a team that knows they don't have to listen to the manager. I still remember the super rigid defense that Mancini had in place. Would we be a worse team? I bet that if he was still in place we'd have won more titles, cups and this would not be our first quarter final appearance in the Champions League. It's great we're getting Pep and all, but I would love to see a 2nd Mancini stint just to have that crazy defense back in place. My two cents for what it's worth.

Just back from the match and still fucking fuming at Pelligrimble and his decision to play MDM instead of Tosin ( who had trashford in his pocket in eds games).
Pissed off him not playing Fernando to tighten midfield and putting on Bony instead of Kelechi.
Stuck up for Pelligrimble many times but he can just fuck off now.
Rags were there for the taking but we just didn't take our chances...2 off form teams playing shite football.
Still confident we will finish above the rag cunts but we need to replace MP with somebody who will kick arse .

We should have started with 3-5-2, Aguero and Iheanacho up front, Sagna, Mangala and one of the Ferns at the back, Navas and Clichy as wing-backs. If we had we'd have won. Instead Pellegrini persisted with his Micawber strategy.

I'm going to stick up for Yaya. Thought he kept trying today to create something and to get us playing. Blame lies in many areas but today? Point the finger at a few but not Yaya IMO.
Fair enough on Yaya today, trying to look at the last few months in general.

What infuriates me is the majority on here and the majority of city fans in general could see playing mdm was the wrong call we knew putting him up against the quick rag frontline was a recipe for disaster so why then could pellegrini not see it all I want to know is why,and the injuries to our two main CB's doesn't wash...

Ha ha,it never even occurred to me that those in charge would think we could win it. You are right,we will keep him in charge and end up getting mauled by PSG and finish 6th/7th.

Just got back.

I think if you put our points average after the first 6 games until now, back into the first 6, we would be 8th. That is quite incredible, isn't it?

Statistically this season has been beyond comprehension when we use the last 5 years as an example. We have fallen so far from those standards we set ourselves under Mancini. Pelligrinis first year was decent but the signs have been around for a good 12-18 months now. Unfortunately over the last 6 months we have broken all our own records that we set over a 2-3 year period. In that respect, under his stewardship,we have quite literally gone backwards. That despite a significant amount of investment.

The only defence I can bring, certainly this season, is that the league is just fucking camacarzy and you only need look at Chelsea to prove that. They sacked their manager, though, and could conceivably catch us if we continue as we are. A long shot yes, but not beyond the realms of reason.

Personally, I see no reason to keep him. I think the apple is now rotten and if we put a caretaker in, the impact couldn't really be any worse.

Because he is a Charlie uniform November tango

Still bloody angry about that and the team. Worst Utd team in living memory and we can't score against them in 2 derby games, they'd lost 1-0 at WBA and Sunderland away in their last 2 league games. I was checking my posts about MDM, wrote about a year ago during the Villa home game when we sneaked a 3-2 win that he had been awful for months and was about 6 months past his sell by date, a year on he is still starting games for us and is getting worse.
Surprised that he brought on Bony instead of Kelachi, Bony is like a statue, never moves to the ball for crosses, never anticipates that a defender might dive in ahead of them, just stands there and waits for the ball to come to him instead. Clearly not good enough for us and symptomatic of our flawed transfer policy of the last few years.
Never thought I;d ever say this either but....Silva has offered zip all all season and if he were to leave tomorrow, I'd hardly miss him anymore. Keep thinking that he can't be fit can't believe he'd offer so little but he's on the pitch and must be deemed fit enough.
This car crash of a season gets worse each passing week in the league....please...make the pain stop

What pissed me off more was that Pelle did nothing to help himself, he had little choice other than to play MDM but he must know his limitations and so should have at least offered the centre backs some protection. Had Fernando been on from the start i doubt very much that there would have been that big space in front of MDM for Rashford to exploit.
