United Post Match Thread

Goodness gracious you must have had something really special to calm you enough to be so articulate and correct after such a galling result against our most hated opposition.

A few drinks, a fitful sleep and a creeping up old age and experience lol!

That sums it up perfectly especially Joe Hart's brain freeze.
Last few games Hart's distribution has been atrocious. Never fails to find an opposition player with his long kicks. Could he be under threat too?

See how the seeds of doubt are sown with Pep on the horizon.

Without a doubt he's under threat, Pep's teams have always played the ball out from the back, including the keeper. Joe just simply couldn't play this system.

I keep saying I just can't wait for next season. But the fact is. I'm not even looking forward to next season anymore because unless that fraud of a manager fucks off before pep comes, we will be finishing 6th maybe 7th in the league the way we are playing. None of them are arsed. There was only 4 players on that pitch at the end of the game that I would want to play next season and that's Aguero fernandinho toure and silva. That's it. A big big clear out Is needed end of.

at first sight i thought mossideblue had had an epiphany

That's the worst United team I've ever seen in my life (I'm 33) and we barely troubled them in 96 minutes. I think we hit the post and made de Gea make two saves all game.

Frightening mate -and which **** sanctioned them ?

I just don't see anything other than what a said Kevin De Bruyne Raheem Sterling Sergio Aguero Joe Hart
i
don't see how pep can win the premier league and champions league with this squad and add maybe Kompany to the out list sad to say but how can you build a defence around him when he's injury hit most of the time. this squad is light years behind the top teams in Europe and behind Leicester spurs arsenal in England so lets have the truth and put the cards on the table

its needs a rebuild a clean out and then 10 to 15 new signings to go with a couple of youth players. pep is a winner and will not wait around for 5 years and let things drop off like pellegrini. in the real world pep is a great manager but had world class players at the clubs he's been at and looking at what we can offer him we must have some very big names coming in the summer or pep would not take the job with our squad its just not good enough

funny thing is we all see pep being this GOD and whatever he touch turns to gold well if sam allardyce had a messi in his team he would be a great manager its a easy job when you have world class players and buckets of money to play with so pep is going to need 3 or 4 of them world class players in the mold of (messi Ronaldo bale) and they don't come cheap

get rid of pelligrini now. dont let bony near the team, never play demichelis unless sagna zaba and mangala are all out injured, imo the rest of your rant is over the top again imo

Angry last night and still angry this morning, players just don't look like they give a flying fuck, no movement whatsoever and we just stand off them time and time again, very very worried.

He's very much under threat. His distribution is woeful and this aspect of our game was improved considerably when Willie came on. Not saying he is the answer but there's a good keeper in there somewhere and it will be good to see how he copes with a run in the team. He has also started to punch the ball a lot ore than he used to and more than other keepers do which irks me as lots are there for the taking. I think he may be a victim of the new manager.

Linesman had let them get away with two clear offsides immediately before anyway.

Is that the lino on the CB side? I counted three offsides that he totally ignored, two of which could have led to goals. Would he have flagged had the ball gone into the net? I think not. And yet he was flag happy when it came to giving the Rags borderline free kicks.

Pellegrini says he's happy with the attitude - get this fool out of my club. How can he have sat there and watched that lacklustre performance in the first half and be happy!

We could have won that 3-1 yesterday with the chances we had. I can't work out whether there is a genuine lack of desire within the mentality of some of the players or what. I am still sticking in the camp that thinks on too many occasions IT just isn't clicking. Whatever IT isPellers often sets up and we are disadvantaged straight away. With Yaya back in his usual position it was a blessing that MANUre were so poor or we would have been over-run again.

Too right. Leicester: 19th in the league for possession, 20th in the league for pass completion. 5 points clear at the top. Possession means fuck all if you do nothing with it.

The stats for this season are crazy. Is there some positive stat for City ?

Those rag twats showed us how to pick a side, their young talent up front gets six games in a row and looks a talent, our young forward talent gets six fucking minutes every six fucking games, whilst they shipped out their shit, we still pick ours, they adapt defensively by picking decent players to fill roles unusual to their usual positions, we pick utter shite over adapting, is it really that strange to of had Sagna CB and Zab right back, to choose mdm is mind blowing, to carry on picking Bony is just fucking dumb,

Rags looked shite to me but we made em look good, we are blown as a team and look like a team in relegation trouble, thank fuck for those first five games coz if you take them points away we would of had a real shocker.

I can take some pleasure in the knowledge that pep is on his way, the sacrifice of watching us free fall is hard to bare but just about worth it , if top four is secured, if not it's probably been a monumental fuck up.

You knew the old **** was going to play Yaya in a two against the scums three, you knew when Otamendi was ruled out he would play Demichellis, you knew before kick off what the outcome would be. We must have spoken to 10-15 different lads in and around the ground and every single one knew what was coming when the team was announced. That's the most frustrating thing, it was so easily preventable. Zabaleta at right back, Sagna at centre back and Fernando in central midfield. Why Bony was picked ahead of Iheanacho to come on just baffles me. Fuck off Pellegrini.
Exactly this. It's getting too predictable.
