This thread has to made a sticky. So the Flappers can come back and hang their heads in shame come the end of the season.
Why can't fans just see the bigger picture. Despite the money we have spent, we have obviously recruited bad in the past. Pep is now in place and its a clean slate, we have the best manager in the world with all the money and resources at his disposal. Despite this he can't wave a magic wand and make us the invincibles over night. We need to be on board with Pep and give him our backing, especially during this transitional period. All these negative vibes from the fans are doing no good whatsoever. If you can't trust a proven winner in football such as Pep you need to follow a different sport. Get a grip!!!

Think that's the most unarsed I've felt for a Derby. They get a scruffy 1-0 win and we looked alright in some parts of the game. Lot of players playing are comfortable second string like fernando and oto, navas.
Not arsed about losing a derby?? Give your head a bloody good shake.
we have more than a plan a and b.....pep is constantly changing things on the pitch (one up top, two up top and that is just the very basics along with what he is asking the fullbacks to do and the midfielders....notice that none of the midfielders were dropping deep today (doing what ferna normally does.....notice that our wingers were really hugging the sidelines today and we were spreading the play a lot more instead of going through the middle...all different plans.......pressing on the firs pass instead of waiting for the second like w did against barca....again very different)......so yes not a plan b...but a plan a-fucking z!
So A to Z was toss then. Brilliant

wouldnt swap the 3 premier s league points we took off them for a victory tonight , when the \rags miss out on the champs league by a couple of points at the end of the season who will have the last laugh ? and couldnt give a flying f*ck about history and records because we will be making our history over the next decade or so

Why not end a slump with a solid team and a derby win to boost confidence? Instead treating the fans like mugs and playing like bell ends

Anyways too much shit on here, some forumers have become cringeworthy since the past few months (last months of Pellers and now again). Just going to get on here when some actually realize its fucking October and not April. I judge people, but judge Pep when its May.
Do realize if we played a full XI we would face a WBA side away which din't have a midweek game while we would have come off 3 really tough games in one week (Barca away, Southampton and Rags) and would follow it up with another 3 in a week (WBA, Barca and Boro).

There is not winning games then there is performances like tonight and Sunday. As blues we can all accept sometimes being second best but give it a fucking go. To go our most games without a win since the takeover is a shocking stat. There is being optimistic and then realistic and we are in a rut at the moment

To be honest I would much prefer that we had won tonight than against West Brom...and we have no chance against Barca. 50 years of being humiliated by the shite...we have a chance to kick them when they are down... and we play the reserves ffs.Tell me,do we need a win on Saturday and Tuesday ?

read what i put again...he is here to establish a way of playing....a style if you were but calling it a style is over simplifying it. A core belief is probably better...this takes time and cant be done over 15 games but surely you can see and must be impressed with the fact that he is getting that style regardless of who we play int eh starting 11.
Did you think utd were better than us...I would say even if you were just to base it on the one game tonight, utd fans will be a lot more worried about that result than we should be...their near strongest 11 against potentially at least 5 players who would not normally play in that game. (Willy, maffeo, navas fernando and garcia...you may add sane into that as well) plus kolorvo at centre half for the entire second half.

we played so very good football....they played kick and run and sometimes the other team gets the break....but we were the better team for the whole first half and parts of the second.

What's the point in being a top team if you can't compete then? Why are people happy that we went there and offered absolutely nothing for over 90 minutes of football? Why do people deem that acceptable? Why did pep say we are going to win the game but select a side incapable of having 1 shot on target? If people can't be pissed off tonight we never can be. I'm not saying go balls deep for this competition but you certainly don't go and bend over for your rivals and give them a confidence boost
