Yes becasue they are all like that aren't they?

With spelling like yours, I'd hazard a guess you were from there. Was being sarcastic by the way. Some nice places I've been to. Chicago was nice, Buffalo not so nice. Prefer Canada though.

This isnt a speeling test, its an internet forum if you hadn't realised. If we are going to start pulling each other up on spelling, "Paphos" should start with a capital letter.

Buffalo is a shit hole, picked the hire car up from there a few years ago. It was a total dump, worse than Niagara Falls and that is saying something!!!

Niagara falls (Canadian side) is a stunning site, it's the surrounding shit hole, that is there for no other reason than to entertain the tourists, that is a total dump. If you'r ever down that way again, I suggest you get across the border and take a drive through Niagra on the lake.

Spent many an afternoon there by the lake. Pretty place and characteristic. I lived in St. Catharines which is only a stones throw from there.

New York is my favourite city, ive been a few times, I love getting up around 6am and walking to Times square before everyone else is really up, streets are empty it's quite eerie but it's like a film set, Times square at night is an amazing place a proper buzz about it. Been to Florida and for entertainment wise you can beat Disney etc. California is great especially the number 1 highway coastal road, Vegas is well Vegas and a couple of years ago we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon that place is stunning, if I had the money I'd live there.

I love the States. Beautiful place to visit. I could live in downtown Manhattan quite easily. Sure the people are a little over bearing at times (due to the tipping culture more than anything else) but at least they actually talk to you when you enter a shop instead of the complete ignorance you get over here.

Canada is also great. Lived there for just over a year and loved it. It is getting quite like America in parts but still has enough of it's own beauty to survive.

-- Sat Jul 14, 2012 11:59 am --

My aunt was teacher there. Near Burlington If remember. Retired now obviously. Miss the place. And the local women who never got tired of my accent. Many happy a night 'smashing back doors'.

I think Chicago is my favourite city over here, I just love the vibe up there. The only thing stopping me moving up there is that fact that its fooking baltic in the winter :)

We currently live in a upscale tourist area right in the middle of the bible belt which has become a right pain in the arse, especially as rednecks and right wing republicans get on my tits. Will be looking at our options next year, but tbh its looking like Florida will be a probable final destination, the Tampa area is great.

Love it there, lived there nearly 7 years and stupidly came back! Love Scottsdale in Arizona and Huntington beach in Cali.
