Re: United thread 2011/12

My local free paper includes a pamphlet inviting me to apply for a Rag season ticket.

But it's impossible to get tickets for OT isn't it? There's 9,000,000 on the ST waiting list. Must be a wind up.

Check the date on the paper it could nearly be three months late

I'm currently looking after my gran parents house while they are on holiday, yesterday i was checking the post and i found this:

486600_4193093550684_122879156_n.jpg

as i held it in my hand i felt sick, it is basicly asking my grandad to be a season ticket holder at the swamp. he's had a season ticket as city for aslong as i can remember..

They are getting desperate and trying to steal our elderly supporters to fill up the swamp.

i am tempted to call their customer services to complain about recieving this scummy thing and the trauma of me having to wash my hands for 5 hours with bleach and a metal scourer.

im just relieved i intercepted it before my grandad because i dont think he would be able to handle it.

I live in Sale and I had one of them delivered to me today. At first I was horrified then I found it hysterically funny that they are having to resort to leaflet dropping to sell their season tickets!

Was it with the menu for your local curry house.

I'm struggling to see what the problem is there tbh. He's offered to sell the plate to Aguero and give half the proceeds to UNICEF.

There's enough united fans out there who are far more deserving of our contempt than this man, Pam.

Spending thousands on a license plate with the name of a player you're rumoured to be in for then driving round with it after he's won the league for your fierce rivals does make him a bit of a twat though.

I very strongly suspect that he hasn't been driving round with it on his car at all. This article is a de facto advert for its sale. It's proably been sat at home for the few months at least. It was a speculative purchase and that's probably the first time those plates have been on that car, at least for the last eight months. He's probably been waiting for the right opportunity to sell it ever since Sergio signed for us and I doubt he's going to get a better one than right now tbh.

Like I said, fair play for giving half the proceeds to UNICEF, if true.

Re: United thread 2011/12

I reckon the guy with the number plate has offered to pay half the fee to UNICEF hoping that by doing so Sergio will then offer a shed load more money than the plate is worth if he thinks half of it will be going to charity. The rag twat then gets a more money off 50% rather than if he just sold it for what he originally paid plus a bit of profit. Dont trust the fuckers one bit.

No there is waiting list for season tickets. You just don't have to wait that long.
