From whatever i know , splitting stock will increase the no of shares , right? Then the price will be readjusted to a even lower level , right? How will it affect the valuation of the company?
Correct. Splitting the stock at say 1:2 will double the number of shares but halve their individual value. Stock splits happen when a share is performing well, not badly.
