Re: And they call us....

Looking at our OS I notice we currently have 13 Official Club Partners. This will no doubt steadily increase and within the next couple of years I would think that we could have 20 Partners.
We are now becoming a Worldwide Brand and I would think that after our successful summer tour of China and Malaysia, its a case of watch this space.

You might see Rooney deeper, but realistically with Kagawa, wouldn't it be a front 2? If they hit it off, they are going to be potent, but as you have already covered, egos could be an issue.
With Kagawa, RVP & Rooney you'd assume it'd be a front 2, though I have a horrible feeling that Kagawa might be tried out wide for a bit.

We've got some quality forward players, but it's going to be hard to work out which combination of 3 or 4 works best for us.

Wouldn't be overly surprised if, in the big CL games, he played a midfield 3 with Kagawa in, and then a front 3 of something like Rooney-RVP-Valencia. That'd be similar to how we played to get to consecutive Champions League finals.

Personally I adore 4-4-2 as I think it's the most exciting and virtuous formation, though I know it makes me a bit of a tactical neanderthal.

Or "the new Scholes"?

Re: And they call us....

We as a football club and a brand are heading in the same direction.

Million miles away from the days on the the Kippax but what is the alternative if you want trophies?

As long as we retain our roots, we will keep our dignity.

Cue the Aussies.....

Which Town Hall?

Trafford, Bournemouth, Guildford, Leicester, Taunton...?

PB, Manchester, it was all fairly dubious. In the background was a series of football equipment (nets etc) , all in our colors, which seemed strange. The presenters were embarrassed, laughing in that "They can't be *ucking serious " way and that was the last of it not a dicky bird about it since. I just want someone to confirm they saw it too, because if not, I'm seriously going to A & E!
We´ve got a bouncy museum thing happening in Albert Sq - went past it Mon before I flew home

Re: And they call us....

I tell you what, if your're in Thailand wearing a Rag shirt, sitting on a Motorbike, eating noodles whilst taking a call from your missus, Nike, Honda, Mammee and Beeline will be Jizzing their Keks.

Do they have an official "Ladyboy" partner? Might as well tie up a deal for the Jizz.

*Although Martin Edwards may have looked into that*

I never knew Fenway Park was in Bangor, Maine; the MCG is actually in Newcastle, NSW; Torquay Municpal Park is located in St. Ives, Jim Morrison really died in Yates Wine Lodge in Oldham, and I was shocked to learn the Battle of Kursk was fought on a small and rather soiled hillock outside of Port-au-Prince.
