I think United have a number of problems and potential issues at the moment.

The imminent loss of the Manager, the Glazers taking money out of the Club, the reliance on the Ginger Bastard etc;

I think we are clutching at straws if we attempt to include lack of support.

Well the 70 + thousand strong army makes hardly any noise... So yes there support is either shit. or they just dont give a dam.

Wow, I've not heard that argument before.

Yes the atmosphere at Old Trafford, as at many premier league grounds, is shit.

It's only those of us aged between 21 and 65 that still get shafted by the Glazers ;-)

The acid test will come when/if United go through a barren spell and the trophies dry up. The appointment of a successor to Ferguson will be crucial. Get that wrong and City fans wet dreams will come true ;).

Yeah you're right....in Utd's previous barren spells there was always a hardcore of long standing supporters, who'd grown up watching the club, to fall back on. That ain't the case anymore so only time will tell.<br /><br />-- Tue Nov 27, 2012 3:05 pm --<br /><br />
