Just waiting for an explanation off the apologists.

Listen carefully through the slurring, what he's referring to as "will never happen again" is the rags imposing their own punishment on a player at the FA's request. They did this with C*ntona and then the FA charged him anyway and extended the ban, that's what he's getting frothy about.

For all you who are bemoaning Sir's potential transfer market raid this summer can you stop and see the real picture for a minute? This isn't a case of Sir buying the title, this is astute management investing in little known world talent to bolster his squad. It's a tactical masterstroke the way he anticipates spending the most money will ensure his squad remain a force. It's different when City spend, there is a crassness about it which underlines the cynical side of football. I for one would put a cap on everyone bar Sir's spending power to ensure a level playing field.

This is what made me laugh this season when he was referred to as a magician, they struggled for goals last season so he went and bought last seasons top scorer at a huge cost, if i want to go fast i buy a ferrari, this isnt rocket science here but apparently ferguson is a tactical genius lol
