empty seats blah blah blah, less than 72000 official last night at Old Toilet, granted i reckon there were 1000 empty fulham seats but you could plebty of empties on TV last night.

Never got the opportunity to visit White City - I'd have been 14 or 15 when it was pulled down so was a couple of years away from obtaining a small interest in dog racing, plus as a proud Mancunian I've always had Belle Vue just a few moments away from where I live. As for football at White City - way, way before my time I believe.

Not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere, but during the minutes silence yesterday at the swamp, which is supposed to be a sombre dignified occasion, there in the center circle with the players was Fred the red with his big plastic head, very classy.
