Off current topic, a red I know, in some attempt at nostalgia I suppose, put on FB pictures of their ground from years ago, pre Premier League. The old Stretford End with 'Wonderfuel Gas' on the hoardings. Wasn't it a shit hole back then? My memories of Maine Road came flooding back and based on those photos we had a much better looking ground, which is saying something.

Always was, still is and always will be. It's not known as the swamp for nothing.

Don't forget it was one of the venues for 66 World Cup.
