I wouldn't say Utd were lucky, I'd say their game plan worked* and Bayern didn't have the urgency to break them down.

*Contrary to the way the game has been reported, Utd are in a worse position than when the game started. They have conceded an away goal and now either have to win 1-0 or score more than one. Neither of which I'd say are very likely

You should know how it is breaking down teams that will put 8 in the penalty area without shame.

If they go out and camp in their penalty area and it ends up 1-1, the pressure for PKs will be on Bayern. Like Chelsea, they have a match-winner (Rooney) and De Gea can keep them in the game. Ideally, we should've had this lot out against Olympiakos, forget the #SOD stuff. I'm not comfortable seeing them linger on in the ECL with hope.

A pity because I think last years Bayern would've been more outgoing. I don't know what Bayern was on about yesterday.

Agreed Heynckes team would have ripped them a new arsehole. Can't see the thundercunt s scoring in the Allianz though, or only conceding once so I doubt we'll see penalties.

A no score draw at the end of normal time would put Bayern through as they have scored more away goals.

One a piece would force extra time. If the rags score in extra time, Bayern have to score two or more, as a score draw of any description at the end of extra time will see the rags through with more away goals. If there are no goals during extra time, it goes to penalties and we get to laugh at Phil Jones.

A win for Bayern by any margin in normal or extra time will put the rags' season to bed.

The rags have to score in 90 minutes of normal play to stand any chance of going through.
