Having let their best two centre backs and left back depart, have no central midfield to speak of they embark on signing another winger with whom they already have about 5. Makes perfect sense to me. :-)

He's a very good player, but is also very inconsistent. Aren't Juventus in for him, too?

To be honest I would take him for around £20 million. Think he would run riot in the prem. He has been inconsistent for Barca but he does play sporadically and it effects him

Lets be honest, when it comes to making money on the side, they are the best in the business at this sort of shite. Thing is, that whole giving the team a rest for PL games goes out the window when they are flying around the world.
