That's not far from the truth, well it certainly was when I flew with them mid-nineties. The wall and ceiling upholstery in the cabin changed about halfway down the cabin, and the join was held together by a ragged line of duct tape. Not the most encouraging of signs.
To be fair though, that was 20 years ago, and not long after the fall of the USSR, so things have probably (one would hope) got better since then.

I used Aeroflot to get to Beijing in 2012, no problem at all. Modern aircraft (Airbus) and very efficient cabin crew. The downside was a 12 hour stopover in Moscow on the way back, I should have checked the schedule more carefully. Having said that the obligatory Irish bar at the airport had Joey Holts on draft.
Worst flight ever for me was Iranian airlines, Yak 42, a fucking nightmare.

as much as it pains me to say it, it wont be very soon... yes we have won a few tins here and there but they have won 20 league titles we are still quite some way off that... hopefully ill still be alive to see the day it happens!!

United were telling everybody they were a bigger club than Liverpool back in 1992 who had 4 European cups to there name and 18 league titles-they also not too long ago proclaimed themselves as the biggest club in the World-bigger than Madrid,Barcelona,Milan and Bayern who all have a superior European football competition pedigree than the cunts from Trafford Borough Council.
